BRISBANE ROAR FC





Brisbane Roar FC is the soccer team based in Queesland in Australia. It currently participates in the Hyundai A-League. The home stadium for Brisbane Roar is called Suncorp Stadium. The team chairman is Mr. Dali Tahir and the club is owned by Bakrie Group. Brisbane Roar FC was established in 1957. The current coach is Mike Mulvey.

 Success is not as easy as reading A, B,C. This is a true story when you talk of Brisbane Roar. The club won its first ever trophy in the season of 2010-2011. Brisbane Roar played without being defeated in 28 games. Only hard work and determination can give you such results.

Most of the players in the club are fromAustralia in nationality. In a total of 22 players in the team, there are 5 foreigners. Among them there is Liam Miller who is the midfielder from the republic of Ireland. There is also a Brazilian striker Henrique in the squad. In 28th October 2011 Brisbane Roar defeated Adelaide United by 7-1. This is the highest victory for the history of the club.

The biggest win for Brisbane Roar in the away matches was against Newcastle Jets FC. The match was played on 26th January, 2006. Brisbane Roar won by 5-0. Besart Belisha is the club’s top scorer with 14 goals in total. Ben Halloran follows with only 4 goals.

Thomas Broich, the German international has the most player assist record, having a total of 9 assists. Brisbane is on the way to sign the French striker from Utrecht. The striker called Edouard Duplan is expected to strengthen the striking force of Brisbane Roar.
